No trip to Kefalonia is complete without a visit
to the Gentilini Winery & Vineyards.
We are open every year from Orthodox Easter to late October for tours and tastings in the relaxed, natural setting of our garden. Our aim is to focus on your enjoyment, and we want you to leave us feeling that you have experienced something very special. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff, who also speak excellent English will welcome and guide you through the wines, answering any questions you may have. Tastings in French available Monday-Friday 11am-2pm and Sunday 11am-7pm.
We also offer light snacks for those who wish to linger further over a glass of wine, and bottles may be purchased in our shop.

Being seasoned travelers we wanted something different to do but still in fitting with a relaxing holiday. I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the best days I’ve ever spent on a relaxing holiday.
We were met by the hostess who was knowledgeable and passionate about her job but overall her friendliness shone through. We experienced the tour and 7 wine tasting, along with a deli platter of cheese, tomatoes and bread with olive oil. We purchased an extra glass of wine and another plate of dips and pitta bread which were all amazing.
The whole experience from start to finish was fabulous and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting something different to do without the stresses of worrying if it going to be a waste of time or money! The time spent here is entirely up to you, the more questions you ask and the more interested you are the longer you will be here. The experience depends totally on you and what you want to get out of it.
I’m not even a wine drinker (hubby is the connoisseur!) but it was as equally enjoyable for me as it was for him!
Definitely go. You won’t be disappointed!
