Notes White is a complex and sophisticated dry white wine made from the Sauvignon Blanc and the extremely rare local Tsaoussi grape varieties. It has delightful aromas of honey, melon, citrus and tropical fruits and is perfectly balanced with crisp acidity.
Made entirely from Robola of Kefalonia. A fresh, vivacious, crisp white wine, which expresses all the mineral and citrus characteristics of this unique variety. Complex, balanced and dry, with an orange blossom nose and long finish.
Made from Robola grown in the oldest vineyard at 850m altitude. 50% of the must is inoculated with native Robola yeast while 20% of the total is fermented in French and American oak barrels to give additional depth and complexity. Citrus aromas and hints of white peaches, citron and vanilla, driven by flinty minerality.
This project explores the aging potential of Robola. The wine matures for 24 months on fine lees giving complexity, elegance, explosive minerality and body. It is bright and fresh despite its age with aromas of white peach and citron, precise expression of terroir, balanced acidity and long finish. This is Robola all grown up.
